"I loved how close we were to Universal parks/City Walk. I also loved the amenities provided at the hotel such as pool, splash pad, lazy river and slide as well as arcade and bowling alley. I didn't like the check in process, it was a long wait just to check in(I understand it was spring break which tends to be extra busy in Florida, but I feel like it could be more streamlined, felt underwhelmed compared to check in process at Disney hotels). "Always a great time at the Hard Rock. We Always try and stay on the 7th floor for the reception area. We didn’t use it much this trip but it’s nice to have that option. Some construction noise around our hotel room that was rather noisy … the hotel did bring this to our attention at check in but would have been nice to know ahead of time. Self parking is expensive but what isn’t these days if you want nice things and stay at nice places . "
