「The Ivy was a lovely place to stay. It has 4 rooms that are just what you want in a hotel room. Tucked away with a Michelin star restaurant. Walkable to theaters. Fairly easy parking. You’ll have to walk for a wee bit from parking to hotel. The balcony/terrace was fabulous. I will hopefully stay longer next time. 」

「Stayed in historic block, pretty old decor, bed linen was stained. Noisy drunken crowds slamming on doors for 30 mins after 3am. Stains on the bedsheet. Didn’t feel like 4 stars at all」

「Staff are friendly. Laundry machine is dirty, especially the door seal with black stain, obviously with no or not enough regular cleansing. Breakfast room is small especially at week ends.Not enough pastry variety. Too big is the muffin. Only one chair in the guest room is not enough for two people having meal together.」

「this has been a lovely experience. We are staying one nite before taking the 4 day train trip to Vancouver on the Canadian. Afterv being warmly greeted by the reception staff we were given an upgrade We walked to the St Lawrence market and had dinner in one of the restaurants near the hotel. Our room is great with lots of room and an excellent shower. Bed is comfortable and all is well. thx 」

「I was super happy to stumble upon this newly renovated gem of a hotel. I was traveling by train, the station is less than a block away. It is also only a few blocks from the Eaton center. I was treated exceptionally well by all staff including the front desk, the bartenders, manager, and cleaners. The rooms are relatively small but extremely well laid out. I had a very nice king size room that exceeded all my needs, including a comfortable desk. The lobby was also very comfortable and a nice...
