"A very nice hotel, newer with comfortable rooms. It has a nice pool that you do not need to pay extra for and the breakfast dining arra is very pleasant. I rated it 3 stars for the area around the property because I feel like the location would be better as it was a bit far from everything, the Mixc mall kind of made up for it but personally I would have liked it better if it was closer to central, or on the other side near the Shanghai Towers. "Absolutely enjoyed my experience staying here at Mandarin Oriental, Shanghai. Was given a complimentary upgrade for their executive club and was treated like a king. Staff was highly attentive and accommodating throughout the entire stay and even compensated one of our room service dinners since our neighbor was making a lot of noise moving boxes 12AM. Overall was a pleasant experience and look forward to my next visit. "
