「Excellent experience in the hotel. Staff there is careful and helpful. Large and gorgeous apartment which is clean,.tidy, and comfortable. I would definitely spend a visit there when I travel to NZ again.」

「Surprised to find out there are three ensuite (3 washroom + 1 disable washroom) in the house. Originally the website stated only have 2 washroom. The environment was nice, facing the wine yards. It has a jacuzzi and bbq area which was nice to try. Overall the house was good for our families. And we tried the fine dining in the restaurant also - service & food was good. If there are more clothes hangers and hook for clothes - that will be great.」

「My partner and I travelled from Auckland to Matakana for a weekend away. We took my elderly mother with us and the accommodation for our trio was Perfect!! The Room was spacious, clean and very well equipped. The area is quiet and right in the river. The only issue we had was the mosquitoes- which was our fault for leaving the doors opened because the weather was so perfect!! The room did provide Bug Spray which we were grateful for!! We totally recommend this property!」

「Stayed one night, arrived late. Hosts Jes and Eileen very friendly on arrival. We were rather tired and just stayed in. Jes cooked a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Enjoyed our brief stay. The other guests were great also. So a lively breakfast conversation was held. Would easily stay here again, a few days would give you a good break. We were pressured by time to head back home.」

The fountain in the front was surrounded by a weedy garden and it is supposed to be the frontispiece of the property. The unit needed a refit to make it more up to date.」
