「The property was beautiful and had such a great time while we were there, really looking forward to staying again. Only comment would be on the cleanliness of the bathroom as the shower had water marks and soap scum all over the glass, bath hadn’t been cleaned as there were hairs throughout and the toilet and basin had stains. Laura the general manager is so lovely and accommodating so thank you for everything my family had a wonderful time」

「This is a very rustic property with lots of character. I didn't partake, but was told the included breakfast was very good (apparently the chef is a pastry chef) the room was comfy, and the area was serene. 「The bed sheets has many insects. It seems that there has no change the bed sheets. There has no pillow provided. 1st night - we double checked and made sure the door locked before we go bed to sleep. In the morning, we saw the door was opened. 「Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price」
