「The hotel is charming, and the room clean and spacious. The included breakfast was also great. However, coming here during the last week of November, we found the entry stairs to be completely covered over with ice (super dangerous), and I mean THICK ice. I was scared climbing them even with my great hiking boots. And the roads on the way in were snowy. 「Staff are generally nice and friendly, there is a bar downstairs which serves good food, many locals came for dinner so is quite vibrant if you would like to mingle with people from different counties. However the room does not include duvet which means you either have to rent one (1100 isk) or bring your own sleeping bag. You will have to bring your luggage upstairs too.」
