「Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, clean room & bathroom. Heater kind of loud & I think the price per night was very high. Also difficult to hear others checking in with a much lower rate. March is March....the room shouldn't be more or less depending on booking time frame.」

「The property at South Shire is beautiful and quiet. We have stayed at a few places in Bennington and it can be hit or miss. The bed in our room was very comfortable and there was also a fireplace and a deep spa tub. Just know that if you book a room for 3 and it is not specified that there is more than one bed they will have to pull in a mattress.」

「We needed a room for four of us to get some sleep before getting out on the slopes the next day. Starlight Inn was perfectly located along our drive. The owners were lovely, seems to be a family owned business. The room was comfortable, clean, and nostalgic. Would stay again! 」

「A most wonderful place to stay! Breakfasts and dinners are heavenly and the Inn is very friendly and welcoming.」

「We liked staying at the place as it had good amenities (washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge with a freezer, fan, inflatable bed, wifi, cable, free parking spots. etc) and a lot of space. Where there is no central AC, it had a window unit which worked well - we had a comfortable stay in mid-July.」
