「Great hosts, beautiful location. The accommodation is a fantastic conversion and the rooms are very nice. Free Breakfast is handy if you want something quick or if you’re willing to go spend some money in the cafe I’d recommend it as the food and atmosphere is lovely.」

「Really relaxing stay - the hotel is in a stunning Glen on the edge of the Caingorms with spectacular scenery. The staff were really helpful (all of them) and my evening dinner was great. I regret not staying for longer, but will be back. Only negative (but may be a positive) was the lack of a phone signal - although the wifi was great.」

「Had a lovely 3 night stay at Heathpark. Meg and Chris were so warm, welcoming and attentive. Stayed in a single room which was a good size, cosy, and a very comfortable bed and fab shower. Great choices at breakfast with a daily special making it difficult to choose. Everything freshly cooked and well presented. Can't recommend this guest house highly enough. Meg and Chris do everything to make sure you (and your dog) have a pleasant stay. I look forward to returning in the future.」

「Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+」

「This is comfort camping, with great facilities in a communal area specific for those using yurts or huts, everything for cooking, reading, games etc. The toilet /shower room is located at the main house; toilet facilities are not next/ensuite to the accommodation. Good written information pack. You are generally off-grid with no phone signal; there is WiFi but not fast. 「A lovely lodge/house that we stayed in. All the facilities was good. A very lovely location near the ski centre and its not too far from there. The kitchen had everything you need to cook for everyone. The only thing is that the bedrooms were very hot. There is floor heating which it kept at a very warm temperature. Which made the room too warm to sleep in. Even with the heatings were turned off in the room. But a very cosy and a great place to stay in. 」

They explained me many things, brought towels directly ro my room and even talked and played dart with me, while I waited for my dinner, which was a great local beef burger. The dart is free and so is the great breakfast, where the lovely owner made me croissants, toast, scrambled eggs and provided cereals, although I was a bit late for it (8.30 - 9.30).
