"Nice big room, big comfortable bed and good sized tv. Lovely breakfast and great service from Dee and James. Although the hotel is dated it has been really well looked after and run by Dee and James, its a shame the buildings owners wont invest in the upkeep and it is closing. "We had a really wonderful stay at the Maison Gorey hotel in Jersey. We loved that it was in a quiet area yet with still plenty to do and see and several buses running regularly to and from St Helier. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and efficient. Our room was beautiful and spotless with a modern TV (we brought a HDMI cable to plug in our laptop to watch our own Prime or Netflix films at night). There is free WiFi in the hotel. "Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room. Problem with toilet was remedied immediately. Hotel could do with pool area being smartened up. Sound proofing between rooms not the best. Loud music played a few evenings but was dealt with by staff when contacted. Great location for central St Helier, easy to walk to many areas. On the whole, a great stay in Jersey."

"This hotel is within walking distance of St Peter Port main district. There is a bus stop near giving access to all the Island. Breakfast was an excellent meal."
