"This hotel is a great and affordable option compared to the hotel within Ginza. We chose it because we wanted to have dinner in Tsukiji, within walking distance from Ginza and Shimbashi. The staff was helpful, and the room was comfortable, not suitable for huge luggage, but it was not a problem for us (we traveled light). Some people might not like the surrounding area since it's next to the fish market, but it's only dark, nothing to be concerned about. "

"The hotel is comfortable and central. I have stayed here a few times and recommend the corner suite if you like a little more space. It was perfect for two people with luggage. I loved how much light came in the room. My only complaint about the hotel is there is no common space if you want to leave your room to work or take a call. The restaurant is under different management than the hotel and they are not accommodating. They do not allow you to sit in the restaurant if everyone at the table...

"I spent 10 days in Tokyo with a friend at Hotel Niwa in one of their tatami rooms with two twin beds. This room was perfect and gave us the space to lay out all our luggage. For a hotel extremely close to a train line, it was surprisingly quiet as well! Unfortunately, I only realized once there that I had forgotten my friend is a terrible snorer and I had to request the staff to give me another room booking.
