Very convenient, minutes to JR Shinjuku Station and just steps away from restaurants and shops. Reception is on the eighth floor, checking in and out is easy. Room is compact but clean and up to date.

Smooth check in and checkout. Staff was excellent and booked us a taxi to our cruise ship. Room was small but big enough for a short stay. It was clean with a very large bathroom. I would definitely recommend Hotel Gracery.

We stayed for 3 days at Hotel Gracery. We had a room with two beds. By Japanese standards it was ok as we found out when we stayed an another hotel with 2 beds. Don't expect to be able to open 2 pieces of carry on though without using the bed. Check in and check out were very easy. The Godzilla theme is quirky but a part of Japanese culture. The optional breakfast I would recommend for at least the first 2 days. The selection is good but might get monotonous. Try the breakfast and fast food options at the downstairs 7-11 or the many small restaurants in Shinjuku. They're all good. I'll be staying here again.

The Gracery Hotel was excellent. I needed some help such as extend hours before my flight and kept my suit cases, they helped me very kindly. I appreciate their hospitality, attitude at the lobby. I will stay at next trip.

The location in Shinjuku can't be beat. Bathrooms are nice and amenities like slippers were included. We upgraded our room and still found it very, very small for two people, be forewarned about this and your stay will be fine.

We did a long layover (2 days), my infant, hubby and I. We were traveling from SF and heading home to Guam, so decided to take an extended layover since the hubby has never been. I chose to stay in Shinjuku because it was close to everything, and like I said it was the hubbys first time, I’ve been quite a few times so I figured Shinjuku would be a good place. Check in was a breeze. Lobby was on the eighth floor, since the property is connected to a theater which I wanted to check out, but I had my 7 month old son with us. Our room was on the 19th floor and the view was spectacular. I had an infant who was just on eleven hour flight, so I thought our neighbors would be annoyed, but to tell you the truth it was so quiet, we couldn’t hear them so I’m pretty sure they couldn’t hear us. The shower room in our room was perfect, it was literally a whole room just for us to shower, with a tub for my little one. After we all freshened up from the long flight we walked around the vicinity and tried to find a place to eat. Plenty of restaurants but not too many places to take the baby which was expected since Shinjuku is more for tourist without kids, so we ended up at McDonald’s lol. Cannot complain, Japan McDonald’s is good haha! Next morning, we woke up and it was a bit drizzly out, but luckily there were umbrellas readily available for us in the room. Train stations were within walking distance. I’d stay here again!

We loved staying here and will definitely return! It is extremely convenient to all that Tokyo has to offer. The staff is exceptional as well. The Godzilla exhibit was not accessible but not due to the hotel’s fault. In fact, because some persons lacking good sense tried to climb the Godzilla, the exhibit had to close for safety and loss control. I applaud this hotel for taking corrective measures to prevent what should be common sense but is lacking in many today. Yes, we will certainly return!

Our family spent the whole Tokyo trip of 6 nights here. The cab driver from airport said this area is 'red light' area, and suggested us to move to a more 'decent' place. I confirmed if the place is safe and he said yes, so we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a perfect place! Unlike other new/modern places, this area is full of life until mid night. There are lots of young people in costumes that you won't see in anywhere else in Tokyo, and it is safe! Hotel rooms are pretty big (Japan standard). Included breakfast is mixed style and we went there every morning for 6 days and not bored. Highly recommend this hotel.
