"A big advice! bring your own pillow, unless you are willing and can sleep using Japanse pillow or rent a normal westen pillow one! we end-up buying one at Ikea about 15 min walks "

"It is a huge hotel so expect some impersonal service. We stayed four nights and found its location excellent for tourism. Of course we were there for the cherry blossom season and Shinjuku is a great place to explore. The train station is walking distance and I found a very helpful YouTube video to show how to get from the station to the hotel"

"This was our final stop on our Japan trip. After staying at some poor accommodations this was a relief. We felt immediately welcomed and taken care of. Our room was available early so we were taken to our room. Some of the comments about older interiors and older style are true however, it felt like staying at the Plaza Hotel in the 90s very retro glamour. I enjoyed the decor and the amenities. "Everything is good, but just the washing machine and dryer are sucks. Don’t wash your laundry at the hotel . It takes forever to dry."

"The Hilton Tokyo was the last stop on our honeymoon and we were blown away! The service was exceptional and the executive lounge and suite we had were phenomenal. The view of Mt Fuji was enough to make it the most magical end of a trip. The staff were so accomodating and made sure we were well looked after from the moment we stepped foot onto the property until we checked out. We will definitely be back to stay as we were so impressed with everything the Hilton Tokyo has to offer. "

"Plat House Plat House in Shin Okobu is a well appointed small apartment but it does have some drawbacks. The location is close to the Shin Okobu station, about a mile from the bustle and noise of Shinjuku. The flat I chose had two beds, a bath, small kitchen, and en-suite laundry. There is also a small balcony fine for drying clothes. Before arrival, the owners emailed directions to the apartment and instructions for accessing it using a key in the mailbox.
