"The hotel is updated and the rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet has good options. And since the baked goods come from the bakery in the lobby, they are on point. The area felt safe. There are a few train options within 5-10 minutes of walking through the park. Shinjuku station is probably more like 15-20 minutes of walking away. Do not miss the observatory at the government building towers."

Of course we were there for the cherry blossom season and Shinjuku is a great place to explore. "Great location. Exit the hotel, turn left, walk for 1 minute and you begin seeing the neon lights, walk 7 minutes and you reach the famous screen with the 3D cats. Turn right to enter Kabukicho. Is a nice hotel but every thing is of a miniature size. If you can put up being cramped in the bathroom and room itself then this hotel works. Lots of food options around. Subway station 100 yards from hotel. 10 minute easy walk from Shinjuku station."

"Quiet neighborhood, friendly staff that are willing to go that extra mile to accommodate visitors. Some English speaking staff so please learn the Japanese language or ready yourself with Google translate or other translation app. Check in and out simple and easy. Employee by the name of LaPai (hope that's correct) was always willing to converse in English and it made my stay so much more enjoyable. On site laundry too, which is great so you don't have to pack much! Will definitely refer others...

"The staff members are all the kindest, most helpful, lovely people. The building is beautiful. The room was amazing with a great view of the city. The bathroom was huge and western style (other than the toilet, obviously a fancy bidet toilet) My only wish is that the breakfast buffet started a bit earlier then 7am as most of the bus tours required us leaving before the buffet started...and the buffet was so delicious thar it broke my heart to miss it on the day of a tour"

Airport Limousine bus also stops right in front of the hotel. Only negative comment is the room size, but it seems to be the standard for Japanese hotels.
