"The front desk staff was exceptional: polite, helpful, and very accommodating. We arrived at 6:30am flying all night from Los Angeles and didn't get good sleep on the plane. We asked if we could pay extra to check in early, even though there was no room available at that time, they tried and moved things around and was able to get us checked in at 9am with just a small early check in fee. "Our family really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. All the staff were extremely helpful. We liked how a 7 Eleven was connected to the hotel so obtaining snacks was easy and the location was within 15 minutes drive from all the locations we were interested in. We will definitely use this hotel during our next visit to Taipei. "

"The rooms were bigger than what I was expecting based on the reviews. The interiors are awesome with all of the vintage stuff. Everything looks clean. There is a lot of space in the lobby too. The shower is perfect - water temp control to your liking, rain shower head with heavy water pressure. Complete toiletries including slippers that they change everytime the room is made up. Free breakfast is not bad. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. "

"Good spot in a central location, walking distance to 2 MRT lines and a popular area of the city. Hotel is fairly basic but the room and bathroom are both a good size (not tiny as some can be in Asia) and includes a mini fridge and kettle and complimentary bottles of water are provided daily. The lobby also has free iced milk tea, lemon tea, and green tea which was a nice touch and the lounge area was nice to have too. "

"Close to Taipei Main Station. Clean comfortable room, although hallway carpet and laundry in basement a little aged and shabby. Beautiful view of the city. The only real problem I had was the WiFi. It was truly terrible even for searching on google maps (which is a common activity when traveling). I had to buy more data on my eSIM to support myself. I can’t imagine trying to do any work on the WiFi. "

"I booked 2 rooms and my bedroom has a bathroom facing the streets (with proper blinds) but it was different. I was extremely happy with the location and was able to walk 5 minutes to Dongman station and buy a MRT subway ticket to ride a few stops to Taipei 101 within a few hours of arrival. Across the streets are affordable shopping and beef noodle for $5 (180 Taiwanese dollars). Much better than the upscale DinTai Fung the front desk recommended. I love the Asian buffet breakfast and tried...
