Also... not a plush or comfortable mattress. Finally... as expected for Europe... my room was extremely small and tight... though the shower was decent sized. "What we liked is that this was a real neighborhood, not just a tourist area. It was an easy walk from the main train station connecting to Lisbon. the hotel itself is spanking brand new and the bed was big and comfortable. There are plentiful restaurants and crossing the river there are many port( fortified wine) companies where you can do tours and tastings.
