「Whole mansion is in a Victorian Style. Owner puts some much effort and passion in this place. Definitely should spend some time with him. The breakfast was wonderful. They even have some options for guest to choose. However location is a bit far from downtown and some of the decoration and photos could a little bit creepy when you have to pass them during night especially when there isn't many guests in the house. Besides there was no elevator should just avoid bringing big and heavy luggage.」

「They have thought of everything. Easy access instructions, parking is amazing, you are inside away from the elements or risk of theft or damage. They communicate every detail. The property was spotless, I even walked around in white socks and they are still clean. Every amenity has been taken care of to make it feel like home away from home. 」

「The hotel is conveniently attached to the 3rd Street Market, parking garage, and Kohl's. TJMaxx, Potbelly's, Walgreens, Jimmy John's, Subway are also in walking distance, as is the river walk. The hotel lobby also has a pool table. There's ice water and popcorn at random times in the lobby too. The bistro leaves a bit to be desired, but a nice option nonetheless. 「Nice that the skywalk to Baird Center is attached. The hotel is old but they say they are remodeling this year. Wish they had valet, as the parking lot is very close but when traveling with a lot of items it is very difficult. The restaurants in the hotel are nice. Starbucks is inside.and convenient. 」

「The room/property had a few odd features - hot water took a bit of time to warm up, AC was portable rather than a more normal window unit, breakfast food was provided in an out-of-the-way room, etc. - but it was clean, comfortable, everything worked, and I did not have to ask for anything. Especially given the location not far from downtown, it was well worth the price, and I would certainly stay again.」
