"The hotel is a little bit challenging to reach. If you don't have an organized transportation, you should rent a SUV, since roads are partly really bumpy. But the place and the hotel are great. It is really quite and cosy. We had a fire place in our room. The food is good. And just after moving to another hotel not to far away we realized how great Chilcabamba was. "Beautiful property, wirh great views of Cotopaxi from our room. Wonderful to have a wood stove in the room, as it's cold up there and the fire kept us toasty! Franklin was very friendly and helpful with all our needs. Food was surprisingly nice, especially the soups and fish. The property is very close to the entrance of the park. "We stay at the Hacienda el Porvenir for one night. And let me say I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff makes you feel right at home. They welcome you with some empanadas and the traditional canelaso. The downside to staying at the Hacienda was we couldn’t enjoy what the place had to offer I totally recommend this place. "

"Great spot. We stayed here during a business trip and ww found it to be the perfect location near latacunga. The service was impeccable. We had dinner at the property and I strongly recommend it, not only for the food but because there is nothing else around and the experience was beautiful. "

"My friend and I stayed at this location for a Saturday night while visiting Latacunga. The hotel is nice, but is located next to a discotec. Music from the disco could be heard clearly in our room. The music lasted until about 5AM. We were both unable to sleep. The shower had semi-hot water. For the price was paid for this, I was expecting a lot more than what we received. Definitely not going to stay here ever again."
