"The hotel is dated as are the facilities. We made the mistake of selecting a smoking room, so our room smelled like an ashtray. It was difficult to determine cleanliness, because the furniture was old and the carpets were also old and stained. Transportation is extremely limited unless you want to ride a bike or walk. "It's a pretty new hotel, right next to the JR Clement Hotel (Clement and Clement Inn are two different hotel buildings). Ita narrow shape is very recognizable once you stepped out of theTakamatsu Station. There are some shopping and food options right at the station, plus there are plenty of eateries and restaurants around the area. There is a 7-Eleven at the ground floor. A short 10-15 min walk or a couple of bus stations away you will find a few shopping streets and they are all in pretty good shape with some nice stores. One side of the hotel has ocean/port view by the way."

"This property is right by a large shopping area filled with dining areas and shops making it a good location for visitors. We booked a smoking room by accident so the room did smell like smoke but that was on us. Staff was very helpful and accommodating for foreigners and they also offer free breakfast from 6-9am. "

"Very cute rooms, the beds were private and spacious, bedding was very warm and comfortable (slept amazingly). I didn't get back in time for dinner but the udon for breakfast on the first morning was fantastic and I was serenaded by a lovely man playing Ghibli music and the beatles on a ukulele as I ate my cheesy bread on the second morning. Also, the free iced green tea was delicious. There were lots of helpful pamphlets in many languages about what to do and where to go, and the staff were helpful with recommendations and very kind and efficient in general. Lovely feel to the place and recommend!"
