「I spent a week at the property as I had business in Tryon NC, and this motel was 15 minutes to the event. It was quiet at night for the season I was there which was in March but still steady people staying. There was unfortunately a wild fire at the time but the staff kept us updated in the event of evacuation. The rooms are clean and are being updated as under new management. The views are stellar behind the motel. A work in progress but I think the new owners have a good plan for the motel...

「Charming and upgraded property! Was in town with my son for a family visit, had the Superior room and it had so much space. Room had everything we needed and was very clean, beds very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the firepit. The BBQ and pizza restaurant is walkable and amazing food. Please note that the lobby isn’t open, but that didn’t impact our stay at all. 」

「The hotel is historic, cozy, well maintained. The location is great, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The owners were delightful, easy to talk with, helpful. Michael, the chef, is amazing! Creative. The breakfasts and dinners were scrumptious and beautifully presented. You'll be glad you stayed and ate here.」
