"We decided to check out a rural accommodation and found this property to be just perfect. Although it’s an older property, the place was kept immaculately clean and made it feel like we’re back in time. It was an awesome Experience, imagine being in an exclusive hotel 85 years ago. The owners kept the building from when it was started, but the beddings and the room was very clean and so comfortable our room has a patio with an , overlooking view of the river and the boats parked in their docks...

"The hotel was good, with the steakhouse/bar being a highlight. The wait staff in the restaurant were great. The room had a nice view, but the 4th floor at least seemed like it was in between renovations, with modern features mixed in with dated furniture and appliances. The hallways were very dimly lit. The king bed was very comfortable. Overall a solid experience."

"This is a 2-star motel (albeit it says Hotel). Great for a pitstop (and lower cost). However, the rooms, despite being smoke free, due to the doors opening to the outside, it is clear alot of smoke comes back in rooms, or guests "smoke" in the doorway. In my case, there were still glasses of water with cigarette butts by the street door, that smelled - and only adds to the problem with wanting to air out your room. The service was great... but the property is definitely in bad shape. And...

"I have stayed at the Best Western Plus many times. I find the location convenient. It is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The service is consistently good. The rooms are clean. My only complaint is the gate to the parking lot has several issues including poor placement of the call button and the gate nearly closed on my rental (it does not appear to have a working safety sensor). I appreciate the decision to install the gate, but its execution was poor."
