"The inn was clean and affordable, but a few things could be improved. The bathroom door lock was broken, which might be an issue for families or friends, and the room had a faint smell, like cigarette smoke, despite the carpet looking clean. On the plus side, it’s pet-friendly, and one pet stays free-great!"

"Room was clean and quiet, and the outside area was nicely kept. The hotel is located in a convenient area with dining options nearby. Saw lots of young kids stay here with their parents. The area feels safe and there are two other hotels right next door. The only downside was the staff who checked me being grumpy and impatient. "

Hotel was fine, The bartender at Dougs was great

"The hotel itself is fine- nothing exceptional, but perfectly serviceable for a place close to Newark airport. However, the bartender at Dougs (the bar/restaurant there) is worth mentioning. I was traveling through for one night by myself, and decided to get a beer at the bar. The guy working was named Jason, and without being intrusive or unprofessional struck up a conversation with me and another patron and was able to make an otherwise lonely night at a bar feel like I was visiting with old friends. Hopefully his employers see this and recognize they have a really great employee there. "
