With more than 45 acres (18 hectares) of exhibition space, Orange County Convention Center is one of the largest convention centers in the United States. The main exhibition hall covers more than 22 acres (9 hectares) and the ballroom is bigger than a football field.
Before going inside, marvel at the architecture of this vast two-building complex. The venue is an arresting sight because of its white façade, large glass walls and distinctive glass arches. Even if you’re not in town for a convention or exhibition, stop by the center for a few minutes to take some photographs.
From motor bike shows and comic book expos to graduation ceremonies and annual conferences, the facility hosts dozens of events every year. Some are open to members of the public, while others are only for industry professionals.
While you are here, make use of the convention center’s many amenities. They include on-site massage services, free Wi-Fi throughout the facility and business centers in both buildings. The two structures sit either side of International Drive and you can travel between them by using the covered skybridge that spans the main road.
Between events, relax in one of the lounges. For lunch, dinner and drinks, try the restaurants, snack bars and concession stands in the venue’s eight food courts.
Orange County Convention Center is situated in the heart of downtown Orlando close to shops, restaurants and some of the city's most well-known attractions. The buildings are served by the local Lynx bus system, and for drivers there are three metered parking lots. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
If you need to be close to the convention center, consider staying in one of the hotels that are within a few minutes’ walking distance. Two of them of connected to the venue by skybridges.
