「I feel like the staff that was working was substandard. The one big fellow was very good at leaning up against the garbage can microwave area, even blocking the garbage for guests. The other fella had on filthy shoes. Maybe the hotel should supply staff with decent shoes.No interaction at all with guests. Staff was not very friendly.」

「My two school age boys and I stayed one night to attend a wrestling tournament the following morning. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was friendly and actively enaged in conversation when I was in the lobby. We go to Grand Rapids a few times each year for wrestling, this will be "My Place" to go.」

「I'm giving it a 4.9 out of 5 stars only because of the hot drinking water in the breakfast area. This seems to be a problem in most hotels. There are 3 carafes, one for regular coffee, one for decaf, and one for hot water. As someone who can only drink hot water, not coffee or tea for health reasons, it absolutely drives me nuts that a hotel can't designate the hot water carafe for hot water only! It's GROSS to take a sip of your water and it tastes like coffee because they are using a carafe...

「Had online check in which made it fast and easy when we arrived. Staff was friendly and helpful. Near the mall and only minutes away from the lake. The pet area was clean and spacious. Only wish we could have been closer to the pet exit. Had to walk to the other side of the building to take the dogs out. The cleanliness of the property was outstanding!」
