"The room was amazing, same as with the living room where we had breakfast. Great views of the marina. The only issues were with the bathroom: the shower was very hard to find the balance between super hot and super cold water. The bathroom sink was too flat and the water was not cleaning the bowl properly. "

"We’ve stayed at Hammetts before and as always, the service was wonderful. It is centrally located to all of downtown Newport so we were able to walk everywhere. The room was quiet and clean, we will definitely stay again."

"I recently stayed here with my bf, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The Attwater itself is absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the Lark room and it was immaculate—spotlessly clean and so thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the room itself was spacious and airy. I loved the nice lighting throughout, which created a relaxing atmosphere, and the fireplace was beautiful. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring double sinks and a nice bathtub. A large closet and refrigerator for added convenience. The staff truly stood out—friendly, and attentive. Shout out to Peter who truly made my stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, feeling homemade, healthy, and absolutely delicious. From fresh fruits to warm pastries. Plus, the availability of an ice maker, coffee, and tea anytime was a lovely touch. The location was another bonus. Situated within walkable distance to shops and restaurants. Overall, the Attwater provided a seamless blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay!"
