"The pool is more like a fountain but we weren’t there to hang in the pool area so that was fine. There was street and hotel construction and trash pick up that woke us up way too early for a Saturday! The elevator was extremely slow but for prospective the place is old/historic and very boutique. I would’ve liked to have easier stair access but we couldn’t find them and was told they were in the adjacent building or that you could only come down not up. "This property is very charming , not a whole lot of amenities in the building but everything we needed was a very short walk "

"Loved the egg shell bathtub. Favorite part of stay. Central location for walking. From outside looked sketchy and had to check in at hotel around the block. The staff there was excellent and very hospitable, but the occasional staff at the Loft was unfriendly and didn’t even greet you when entering. Definitely a contemporary room and felt cold with cement floors. Yet that tub was amazing. First night very loud party upstairs in penthouse about 1am. "

"Bathrooms need some work for the price paid, the facility was a little below standard. Do not mind paying the higher price but I want what I pay for, did not feel that way at check out. Mainly the bathroom was the problem, shower door would not close and toilet would not flush for the majority of the stay."
