「Came to town for a competition. booked a hotel and left because it was disgusting. Booked at Holmes in and made my way there. Everything was perfect except the windows. They used blinds which made the morning come early and bright....too bright」

「Comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and shower. We enjoyed our stay at Buxton. Easy walking to all of the interesting restaurants and stores on the main street and to Dennison. You need to understand that this is a historic facility. If you are on the 2nd floor, no elevator. They could also make it easier to find an open plug for CPAP and recharging your phone. The included breakfast fell a little flat. Overall, however, I am very happy to recommend this inn. 」

「The property is well located, and the staff are generally attentive and friendly. However, they ran out of specific breakfast items before service ended most days, the pool closed for maintenance during our stay, and although we asked for a quiet room, we ended up with a very noisy neighbour that needed to be moved.
