"Fabulous historic hotel with some truly wonderful and giving staff. From the “bellhops”, bar and restaurant staff to the concierge nothing was too much trouble for them. Balcony room looking over the pool quite small for two with luggage, but it is an old building. Only letdown were a couple of miserable receptionists on our last day. Rude, unhelpful and obviously did not want to be there. Everything seemed like a bother to these particular two, spent a lot of time on the phone and ignored...

"Wonderful clean property in a safe area by Tulane. Huge room, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, A/C worked perfectly, coffee shop in AM only but very nice. $50 parking but convenient. Front desk helpful. Overall would stay again. Except during construction streetcars and busses right outside makes it convenient to go into quarter. Also very convenient to Saenger Theater."
