This property is in the warehouse district which is a nice respite from the Quarters. It is an old building that has been refurbished. Love the exposed brick walls and plank floors. The restaurant and bar are really nice - food was lovely. Staff are very nice and helpful. The only downside is the sound of people walking around above you but to be expected. Sleeping was very quiet. Would stay there again!

Great property and friendly staff. Location is perfect. I haven’t noticed any reviews talking about the night club next door. The booming started around midnight and didn’t stop until 4 AM.

The Old 77 Hotel is quintessential Warehouse District New Orleans. Beautiful exposed brick, hand hewn wood floors and tasteful art. Excellent location, hospitable and accommodating staff. In a city known for incredible dining, there are so many outstanding restaurants both in the Hotel (Compere Lapin) and walking distance from this location.

Pretty hotel, older building, nicely decorated; good location, only 4 blocks or so to the French Quarter. The entrance is not entirely clear. Front and center with no indication, and most often blocked by vehicles and when delivery trucks. The staff maintained the walkway well enough, but no way really to avoid other pedestrians with an overabundance of foliage. Check in took a while with only 1 person there (1-2 pm) who said we were being upgraded to a nicer room "with a view." Turns out the room was a basicy king room, and the view was the construction of a parking lot across the street. There was one chair to sit, other than the bed, and no coffee pot to get going before the lobby coffee station opened at 7:30. While the facilities are quaint, some items were hard to miss, including an ice machine that needed a good scrub down. We might try the Old 77 again, but would consider other locations if available.
