"We stayed here for two nights for our anniversary trip away and cannot recommend Hotel Deutsche Eiche enough! The Suite was beautiful, really spacious and fantastic amenities. It's in a great location, with lots of restaurants nearby and less than a five minute walk to the Viktualienmarkt. The staff were really welcoming and chatty. The rooftop bar was a great addition too with views over Munich. "

"The hotel was conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the train station. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was soft and very comfortable. The young Australian lady at reception was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended a restaurant for schnitzel and it was one of the best and largest schnitzels I've ever had. "Good central location for access to the Old Town and train station. It is located, whereby depending on your room, you may look out onto a busy road with offices at eye level, but this did not seem to disrupt our stay too much. The bathroom is slightly outdated but does fit with the aesthetic of the room. You can hear some street noise but overall a very comfortable and pleasant stay for a few days. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice."
