"A beautiful hotel in a very quiet and secluded area. Very friendly staff that offered us a free upgrade and great advice about what to do and where to hike. The restaurant is also wonderful with probably one of the beat wine lists I've seen. Bravo! You must have a car to get to this place however. "Recently renovated so no sign of 'tired carpets' or similar: everything immaculate. Possibly denuded of any real 'alpine' feel in the process though. Staff all very polite and helpful. My room had a hoid sized shower room (shiny floor as is so often the case - good job i had flip flops) but the room itself was far from spacious. Nevertheless the bed was very comfortable and the sounproofing was excellent. And what views! I was on a corner and had virws of mountains out if both - expecially...

"Hotel was absolutely cozy. Super close to the lift. Wish I had known the location better to ski there! Staff was amazing, and helped track down an item I left. Beautiful building and location. Super close to the fun FU bar. You can also easily walk to the mountain for some trails. Only downside is the doors lock at a specific time. That was fine as I was jet lag. Def recommend this location! Breakfast had a lot of options if you chose it. "

"This is a true Swiss lodge at nearly the top of nowhere. The staff is friendly but it helps to have a little German or French. Be sure you specify exactly what you want in a room..like a shower AND toilet, or you may be sharing. You need to be fit enough to walk up to 4 flights with all your stuff. Our top floor room was lovely with 2 comfy twin beds, multiple windows and even a small sleeping loft (for kids?).
