"I have been coming to WG Creole 1850 on a regular basis. This is an outstanding stay, particularly for those who enjoy taking the road less traveled. "Celebrating our 2 year anniversary, we decided to book again at the Abita Springs Hotel. The room we originally booked did have an AC malfunction and the liason quickly moved us into another more luxurious room. The stay was incredible, one we will never forget!! If I did have anything to say, it would be that I did text the number to get more towels and never got a response. It ended up being ok in the end, but thought I'd mention it."

"Pros: Beautiful 3bed/3bath Cottage house with older New Orleans charm. Clean & spacious! Equipped with what you need. Comfy beds. Nice Hot Tub outback. Secured property with keyless entry. Cons: Street parking was scarce. Homeless Camp less than 2 blocks down. People living in tents and broke down vehicles with stay dogs running loose. "

"What a beautiful and unique property! The room was very comfortable, the decor and condition of the historical building were exceptional. The owner trusts his guests which is fantastic, with an honor bar/fridge and open kitchen. We had issues with the front door security which required us to call him several nights in a rolw. "We absolutely loved our weekend at Blythewood! It was beautiful. Perfect weather. Ipha, Lloyd and the chef were all so friendly and welcoming. We had a large downstairs rooms. Access to kitchen was a plus! Will definitely stay again. We also enjoyed all the local restaurants and antique stores in the area. Our Mimosas and quiche brunch on Sunday was perfect. "

"room was not cleaned when we arrived, bed unmade, towels on floor. To their credit, they sent someone right over and left a bottle of wine. Security light went on all night keeping us up ( Bottom floor ). Location was good, Recommend second or third floor if your staying.
