Great property. Amazing location within blocks of Louis Armstrong park and great local spots close… kind of disappointed that I paid for a late check for 2pm but every thirty mins I had someone walking into my room after 12:00pm! Just wanted to sleep in after attending mass on Sunday morning

From the property manager to the staff and the guests everyone was GREAT. One of the ladies felt that the towels could be whiter. We noted that they did not straighten the sheets daily. Towels were replaced daily. Not many things were complimentary. Wonderful location to shopping entertainment and transportation.

I stayed at this hotel from February 18-21 2025. I do adore the staff and they did a great job handling our bed bug situation. We stayed in the premium room the Luis Armstrong room and was down graded due bed bugs. I also felt that the locks on the doors didn’t seem safe even with my door wedge that I always bring with me. I know the authenticity of the property makes it great in such a historic place but much upgrades are needed to secure and maintain this gem. It really saddens me as both of us came home with our fair share of memories and lots of bed bug bites all over our bodies. These are reason why I have it only 2 stars. I do hope to return here when all these things are fixed and upgrades are made to maintain this hotel.

The room wasn’t what I looked at online . The where fully booked although I had my reservation booked several months in advance , just wasn’t happy walking up several sets up a small staircase with two bags and across the street from hotel in adjacent building . Wasn’t the experience I was having in mind.

I stayed for 2 nights. My check in staff is very nice. The only problem I had was the bathroom fan and light. The fan cover dropped and the light turned off by itself a few times during my stay. The first time when the light turned self off，I was scared. Then this became Inconvenient.

The location is great for being in the French quarter but far enough away from all of the chaos. The property is a small older hotel that looks like they created a bunch of separate rooms. The room we had was named after Fats Domino. We went to party on bourbon so didn't spend much time in the room. The room has multiple lights that didn't work, the toilet wouldn't flush well, the tv remote never worked, the outlet behind the bed side table didn't work so we moved the furniture to have a working outlet for our phones. Room service did a nice job with cleaning the room. We requested them to fix these issues but none of it was corrected.

The property was conveniently located. The room was small no chair, water pressure was non existent, room was drafty as the balcony door had a 1/2 inch gap between them and would not properly lock. No place to put luggage. Did not keep hot water for complimentary tea available all day. Iced water was not kept available. Had to go out to courtyard and in a hall for ice. Just not a good experience it was not a place you wanted to spend anytime except to sleep and shower.

I had a wonderful experience here! The staff were so kind, property was quiet, and my room was clean. I enjoyed reading about the history on the website while I tried to find which historic room I was in and also getting some research in about the musician on my door! Was an easy walk to Bourbon St and the river walk. Would stay here again!

We absolutely loved the staff and the antique culture of the room. We had a fountain running outside our door that made sleeping fabulous. We will definitely stay here again!
