"I have been visiting this hotel for over 15 years. As always, the staff were terrific, kind and helpful. The location - across the street from the UN - is perfect. The views of the city skyline and the East River are, as ever, spectacular. Unfortunately, we had to ask a lot of the staff: the safe in the room was broken, one of the lamps was broken and the coffee brewer for all coffee drinks was broken downstairs in the Cafe. The restaurant has been the same for over a decade and felt kind of...

"Our stay was great and loved that our room was cleaned daily. Parts of hotel seem a little older and could use updating. Also the food in the hotel restaurant in the lobby was pretty awful. For the price we weren’t impressed. But overall a great stay and would go back. "

"Friendly staff in a quiet isolated area, perfect for those with a car. Security guard patrols the parking lot at night. Felt safe for two women to stay for a few nights. "

"After an initial problem with room allocation - efficiently sorted out by the manager - we had a great stay here. The room was big, with a great view of the NYC skyline, and kept clean by housekeeping every day. The hotel is right on Broadway, so great for anyone going to see a show (or two!), and also very close to the subway. Breakfast, drinks from the bar, and the hotel shop all very expensive."
