It’s a disco style lobby and Ambassador Grill but all bathrooms were new and updated. Now they need to brighten up the dark dull hallways! We loved our view and convenient. One problem…. This was our 4th trip to New York and this was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in. The staff are absolutely brilliant. Free coffees at the reception before you head out is a great touch. The rooftop view is also beautiful. Genuinely cannot fault the staff or the hotel at all. For the price it’s a no brainier I will be staying there every time I go to New York from now on.

I was unable to check in online and there was a huge line. I like the option to remote check in and out. My first night I wasn’t offered the complimentary bottle of wine, but when I came back for my next stay a few days later, this was offered. Customer service was great and I would return if staying in midtown for the convenience and price. The decor and cleanliness were also a huge incentive, as was having a restaurant attached to the lobby.
