Good location. We walked around whenever we were back in the hotel after tours. Lots of eateries nearby. If ever we come back to HCM city, we will stay at Hotel Majestic.

This hotel is an amazing place to stay both in terms of location and ambience. It is a gorgeously maintained building showing off the French history of the city. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel Is located very conveniently in District One overlooking the Saigon River. It is easy to walk to at least half a dozen major attractions and locating food and shopping was easy as well. The hotel staff were very helpful and added services like fruit in the room and checking the room to see you have all your belongings before you leave the hotel add up to a stellar overall experience. One of the best breakfast buffets I have ever encountered and the spa was lovely as well.

The facilities are also very nice and I have used this place before when staying at HMC, but this time when I was dropping off my college-aged daughter at her friend's house in Vietnam, I was mistaken for a woman who was bringing someone home when I returned from the central part of Vietnam at night, even though I had checked in a few days earlier, and I was told unpleasant things and felt very uncomfortable. There was no apology, so I will not be staying here again.
