The hotel was in very good conditions, special after taifun Yagi, breakfast was excellent with many options, and service in restaurant was very good.i will recommend this hotel if you want to stay in old town Hanoi.

Comfortable stay in hectic Hanoi!
We were very comfortable in our three night stay . Room was clean and comfortable . Breakfast was varied and satisfactory in a tastefully designed dining room in the basement . Hotel staff were genuinely helpful . We also ate in the sister hotel Souriant Premier , where food was excellent . Their rooftop bar is also great!

An OK place…but there is no pool here.
We booked this hotel because we wanted to relax by the pool for a few days and the photo looked great. However there is NO pool at this hotel. If you look at the very small print on the photo you will see it says it is at the sister hotel which you have to walk to through the busy streets about a block away. We complained and were moved to the other ‘premium’ hotel ( which is very nice). If you want a pool and a great hotel, book the other hotel. The ‘central’ one is average. We were not the only guests who were conned by the hotel listing. The staff at both hotels are very nice.

Pictures are deceiving! The place looks great online so we opted to get the executive room. We stayed in a hostel for the 10th the price that was 100× nicer and cleaner in Danang. Room - Smelled awful. I had a hard time sleeping the first night and had to air out the room. - The furniture was old and falling apart - The door to the room was hard to shut even the worker who showed us to our room struggled to close it - The balcony was small which was not a surprise but the door did not lock properly. It looked like someone had broken the locks. If you pulled slightly hard it would open. - The listing says sound proof but i could hear almost every sound from our neighbor Bathroom - MOLD! MOLD! MOLD! - The shower had cracks on all sides of the tub that allowed water to fall down the sides. - There was a small nasty shower curtain that was yellow and stained - The glass on the side of the tub was a good 3 inches from the tub allowing water to get trapped there and mold to grow - There was mold on the base around the sink Staff - Decent but never gave us any information - We had laundry done and a local shopped dropped something off at the front desk for us but we were never notified of either. The phone didnt has a number listed for the front desk. - The laundry came back with a small stain on a white shirt but smelled clean Location - Great! Everything is closeby and easy to get to. Our driver actually took us to the MDV Luxury hotel and we walked to the Legend.
