"I loved the historic aspect of this hotel. Oldest in Savannah - all refurbished and beautifully appointed. Very nice happy hour with free wine and music, trivia, history lecture etc. Excellent breakfast. Rooms were on the small side but not too small. Great location - 10 min. walk to River Street and other tourist spots."

"Came to Savannah for a girls trip. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Leslie who checked us in was so sweet giving us tons of recommendations and made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. Breakfast was great and all the staff was super friendly and helpful. Perfect location to walk anywhere in the downtown area. Will absolutely be staying here again. "

"I tried and tried to get a room at the River Street Inn all day a month ahead. It was worth checking over and over - I got the room of my choice at 3 that day after five times. It was well worth it - the hotel is delightful and in the middle of so much to do. The associated restaurants were so convenient when we checked in late. Staff was terrific. Walk in shower was fantastic. River view was mesmerizing. Valets were careful with our car. Location was perfect. Only criticism was that we did not have a desk to work on even tho there was room for one. I loved staying here. Thanks for a great experience. "

"Location, is perfect for going to the the river walk . Great for restaurants. My only complaint is the noise, Bay Street is loud with trucks and loud cars . Rooms are not very sound proof . Great location to get to trolleys and ghost tours . "

"Property was beautiful, rooms had all amenities, lots of room. Food was yummy from the pool bar, drinks as well. Perfect location for walking, we didn’t have a car. We did use their complimentary car service one night. Pretty great place."

"This is a very lovely hotel! Old, but well kept and I loved the charm of the old building. There are two parking garages very nearby which makes parking easy if you don’t want to use valet. It’s very central and it was so easy to walk to everything we wanted to do/see in Savannah. Our room was clean and nice. Because of the location (and I’m sure most hotels in this area have the same issue) it can be noisy from traffic and construction around the area. This would not stop me from staying here again though. "
