"Lovely high spec cottage. Clean and new interiors. A romantic stay for couples but we had a three year old! Peaceful and quiet location. A short drive to shops and not too far to some good vineyards. Breakfast was quite nice but would be good to have a helpful option. My daughter loved the trampoline and small playground. Felt like a safe location. I’d recommend taking the hotel up on their offer of starting the hot tub for arrival as I couldn’t manage it!"

"The setting is wonderful, the pool area & garden walks divine. Our room was spacious & had a good sized deck area outside.Bed linen was clean & fresh. The bathroom needed updating & was not very clean ie. window ledges were dusty & grout from the tiles lined the edge of the bath. I had to ask for a hairdryer. Breakfast took a long time on the first morning , the 2 inexperienced staff struggled to provide us with a cup of coffee saying they had only one pot & there were 2 other people wanting...

"The owner Ivan is very friendly and is involved in making guests feel comfortable. The unit was not in such a clean condition upon arrival (carpet, curtains and flies)and the cleaning policy states that no cleaning takes place during the weekend and the towels only get changed after 3 days. The lodge is quite secluded and peaceful, with the closest beach being a 6km drive away. There are 2 swimming pools (albeit small) on site that you can also enjoy should you not wish to drive to the beach."

"Arrived in a rush to get the key & left for an event. Clean room and nice to find a welcome note, even after a late booking. Cabins are not very soundproof, which is understandable - however when neighbouring guests are having loud conversations at 3am, it is not ideal. Floors are also very cold, perhaps more mats can be provided."

"We stayed in one of the Forest cottage. We loved the grounds of the hotel and the gardens were so beautiful. We booked late and the only room available was one of the cottages. We found the decor to be very dated including the bathroom and it had no air con. The bathroom taps were very stiff. The pool area for these cottages felt like it needed updating/cleaned and the lounger covers on the chairs were in need of a clean and quite dirty. Overall we were quite disappointed with the accommodation....
