「Wir haben unsere 3 Urlaubstage in diesem sehr schön gelegenen und von Weinbergen umgebenen Weingut richtig genossen. Gute Weine, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, schöne Unterkunft mit eigenem Pool. Gutes Frühstück mit herrlichem Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Weinberge. Stellenbosch, Franschhoek und die umliegenden Weingüter sind gut zu erreichen. Die Kosten für den Abholservice wurden uns leider vorab nicht mitgeteilt ansonsten war alles perfekt und sehr angenehm.」

「Beat all of our expectations, and they were pretty high from reading the reviews! Accommodation is brilliant and has all amenities we could wish for. Great breakfast and we tried the lunch here last day, also superb. But the by far best thing was the staff. We were made to feel super-welcome and got great recommendations for dinners, winetasting and trekking. 「Nice little complex, friendly staff and restaurant attached served up an excellent dish. Just down the road from wineries and easy access to main roads. We had to leave early for a flight and staff happily assisted with bringing us breakfast the night before. Easy drive to Cape Town airport. 」

「No provision made with water supply when power went out due to loadshedding. You could not use the bathroom at all. NO extra drinking water in the room. Breakfast at restaurant was also not great. Sorry, not a good overall experience at all. It is situated in a beautiful area. 」

「The property is an a beautiful location however the décor is dated and tired and is terribly expensive for what is on offer. Service and food at the Bon Bon cafe on the property is terrible. Overall not a pleasant experience.」

「We have visited Willowbrook country house many times and we return because it give you a feeling of being at home. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The price is value for money. Truls Disen」

「While the place is handsome and well kept, there are serious issues that I encountered that were reported here by others. The two most prominent were that the choice of rooms I was given was either a room with a door that opens strainght into the dining room, or a room with a bath ONLY (= no showerhead... in 2020...). My complaint resulted in the owner explaining to me this the room EXPEDIA assigned to me.... on my second night I moved to a room which was separate from its bathroom, not a great...

「I rented the luxury penthouse and it was very nice. Felt like home. The area is very walkable with restaurants, grocery, and shops within a very short distance. I grabbed Starbucks everyday and sat on the balcony to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I plan to return to this property again.」

「We stayed in one of the Forest cottage. We loved the grounds of the hotel and the gardens were so beautiful. We booked late and the only room available was one of the cottages. We found the decor to be very dated including the bathroom and it had no air con. The bathroom taps were very stiff. The pool area for these cottages felt like it needed updating/cleaned and the lounger covers on the chairs were in need of a clean and quite dirty. Overall we were quite disappointed with the accommodation....
