"I first stayed at the SCH in 1961 it had old world charm and still does But needs to be updated in basic amenities. I appreciate that the room rate is comparatively low, but with a little attention to the room amenities the rate could be justifiably raised and the comfort / feel good of the room would add to a more positive feeling."

"Loved the location of this property, close to everything! We could walk to most things very easily. Employees were wonderful and helpful. Fridge in the room so we could throw our breakfast in there. Cole's store across the street where groceries and small prepared meals could be purchased."

"I have different criteria when I stay so this is only my personal view. I desired a bed at the days end. It met my expectations. Bus stop toward the city was only a 2 minute walk. On the return it is preferable to catch the train as the walk is 4'5 mins, but is down hill On the bus if you alight a stop too early , that is Uphill albeit not a mountain "
