"The Sofia hotel staff were all very accommodating! Great location and had a very nice fitness center. Only complaint I would have is the hot water didn’t really get too hot, granted it is an old building. But other the water temperature, I had a very good experience during my stay. "

"Great location next to PetCo and dining options. Room was nice but we prefer a regular door for the bathroom (instead of a slider) and the coffee maker in the room was a Keurig that struggled to make a decent cup of coffee. Staff was helpful and friendly. "

"My stay at the historic Horton Grand in San Diego was unmatched in excellence. Located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, it is an easy walk to Petco Park, the Children's Museum, the USS Midway, and many dining and nightlife options. It is staffed by very friendly and helpful people who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was in the fourth floor and overlooked the courtyard whose trees were illuminated nightly. This hotel includes many antique furnishings, including pianos, organs, and divans from the nineteenth century in the lounge areas on each floor. Many famous people have stayed and even lived there, such as Wyatt Earp, Tom Mix, and Jackie Coogan, to say nothing of modern times. The best part is that the building is haunted! Eyewitnesses have testified that they have seen apparitions descending the ancient wooden balustraded staircases, and a room on the third floor is said to house its own ghost! While walking around the building we felt the presence of otherworldly beings and are excited to go back and hopefully make contact. 10/10 would stay again!"
