"One thing I learned after staying at this hotel was to not judge a book by its cover. Upon pulling up to the hotel, I was concerned. First, it is in a somewhat desolate area with very little around. Secondly, the sign off the highway looks as though a bomb went off in it. Lastly, the photograph on Expedia was not a good representation of what the actual exterior looks like. At night, the sign on the building has a lot of the lights burned out and overall, was not very inviting. We ended up...

"The host was okay but he came running down to the room as he gave us the wrong room. The walls were cut 2 ft off the top and off the bottom separating the wash basin from the beds. The bedding was stained and the spread didn't look clean at all. The temp control did not work right it was either freezing or nothing. The television remote didn't work right either and when it finally came on you could only receive 3 channels. The good thing was we didn't have neighbors."

"This visit was a time of reset that I needed after loosing my mom. I could not have found a better place of peace to do just that. The calm that surrounded me was nothing short of a little piece of heaven where mom has finally reached in full splendor 😇 The room was exceptional, along with the beauty of the wood working of the lodge, the patio area and wrap around porch along the wood line is beautiful. "Quite woodland retreat. A wonderful cabin with two beds and a sitting area with TV and eating area. Great size room, not far from the main building where you order your dinner to go and eat it in your cabin due to COVID Friendly staff Bring your shampoo and conditioner "

"The shower worked well and the pillows and bed were comfortable. However, there was mold in the bathtub and the bedspread was visibly not clean. You will need to bring your own shampoo. (Also know that the entry door is straight to outside.) "
