"My best friend stayed at the Emeline during a girl's weekend in Charleston. We plan to return!!! The location was excellent. No more than a 20-minute walk to the best restaurants and attractions. We loved the hotel restaurant/bar and spent several hours lounging on the couches in the courtyard sipping bourbon. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Cannot say anything negative about this place."

"Great property! The grand decor was lovely and very clean. Each floor had coffee and muffins every morning, and fruit during the day. That was a very convenient touch. The roof top pool was excellent and food was great. The lobby was very cool and I wish I had had time to dine at the steak restaurant. Very convenient to lots of cool restaurants and coffee shops. I am already booking another trip and will stay there again. "

"I loved room 402, which looks over the pool and courtyard. The outdoor areas are so beautiful, and the location is perfect for everything in the historic district. One tip to the traveler: If you drink as much water as I do, they have a fantastic filtered water machine with their hallway ice machine. However, you have to put your hand over the sensor to get the best service out of it; it doesn’t seem to recognize the glass or the bucket. The front desk told me that tip when I called, and I stayed hydrated because of it."

"We had a fantastic stay at this harbor-front hotel in Charleston! The location couldn’t be better—right on the harbor with a perfect view of the waterpark and within walking distance to everything the city has to offer. From check-in to departure, the staff went above and beyond. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and truly accommodating. The morning breakfast was delicious, and the complimentary wine and cheese happy hour was such a nice treat. We especially loved the bottle of wine waiting in our room—it was perfect for unwinding on the rooftop terrace with that stunning view. After checkout, we decided to explore a bit longer, and the team didn’t miss a beat. They packed our bags into the car and graciously kept it parked for us until we were ready to leave. This hotel gets hospitality right, down to the last detail. We’ll definitely be back! "
