"We liked the atmosphere of the old house. The grounds were beautiful. The staff person was very friendly and helpful. She doesn’t speak English, but between a little Spanish on our part and sign language, it was a wonderful experience. We learned a little Portuguese! Would stay again if ever in the area."

La habitación parecía que estaba por ser demolida , aparentaba un motel de 1970 , todo viejo , abandonado , sucio y en mal estado . NO TIENE AIRE ACONDICIONADO, Al querer abrir la ventana , estaba rota la manija , en una habitación de 15 m2 sin ventana y en verano , un calor agobiante . No pasaría una noche ahí devuelta ni aunque me pagaran por hacerlo . "

"It was very bad weather in Braga and they let me have my room early as I was wet through and my room was ready. This was good. At night I asked if I had already paid for breakfast and they said I hadn't. I asked what the cost was. They did not ask me to reserve or pay, and they said next morning that I couldn't have breakfast because I hadn't reserved it the previous evening. Eventually, and because I could speak Portuguese, they allowed me to have their breakfast. Payment €3.50"
