「It is a lovely country house hotel. We stayed in a premium double room, which is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable. There is a breakfast room but breakfast can also be served in the lounge; it was very pleasant to enjoy breakfast in the beautiful lounge. The manager, Michelle, is very helpful and friendly. Another great thing is that the hotel is very pet friendly. 」

「We were located in the annex, across the road, with on street parking. 1 flight of stairs to room which was sufficiently sized for an overnight. Tea/coffee and biscuits supplied. Bathroom well stocked, but lots of condensation as there was no window or fan? Builders were working on flat roof right outside the window which was a bit of a shock for both of us! Would recommend this hotel」

「I've stayed at the hotel previously, it's ideally situated and the staff are very accommodating. The room is comfortable and I would stay again. The only negative point was breakfast, this was the first time I'd had breakfast here and the service was very slow. I arrived at the restaurant at 8:35am, at 9:27am I was still waiting for my food. This was not ideal, given I was meant to leave at 9:30am. If breakfast starts at 8:30am, then all food should be ready to serve from that time.」

「Apart from them not expecting me, they weren't doing breakfast and the telly was broken, I have no complaints. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was just what was hoped for with a comfortable bed and functioning hot shower. A bit pricey for a pub in April.」
