"Check in line was long when I got there, so I decided to go eat dinner and come back. When we got back the line was shorter and i waited maybe 15 minutes. Jazmine checked us in and she was great! Very friendly, and knew alot about the area. The room was like a small apartment. It was awesome. "

"The property was similar to an English Country Inn. It was very understated. Not anything like the normal accommodations of the general Williamsburg area. My wife loves the room, furnishings and the 4 poster bed. I liked the locations as it was a little remote and was very relaxing."

"This was my wife and myself 6th trip to Williamsburg. Previous 5 trips were with family and stayed at one the resorts outside of the park. This trip was just the two of us and stayed in the Chiswell-Bucktrout. Nicely modernized with a comfy queen bed/private bath with the ambience of an earlier time. Loved our stay. "
