The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the area was quiet. We definitely felt safe. The only problem was the bed wasn’t really that comfortable but it was big. We would definitely stay again.

Love the property, its location to the beach. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and professional. The room was rather quaint and nostalgic. Only stayed overnight, will be back to enjoy other amenities, like the spa

One complaint is that the entrance gate was open the entire time we were there. Not too safe! Clean property and room, glad that security made people leave the pool at 10pm. Close to Sonic, Wal-Mart, etc., and beach view and access, across the street. this is my 4th time staying at the Victorian

Though Houston Methodist Clear Lake might be what brings you to town, perhaps you'll have a chance to explore more of Bacliff while you are here.
Do your research, we had wanted to do some antiquing, but half the shops were closed on the days we were there, or out of business. Also the Galveston Pleasure Pier was also closed. None of this is the fault of the Cottages, just our bad luck.
