"The coffee shop was amazing! Large roof top pool (not heated). Very modern and clean inside. Location was PERFECT with the streetcar stop right outside the hotel. Easy walk to the French Quarter with lots of souvenir type shoppes on the way down Canal Street and others. We stayed Tuesday-Thursday right after Mardi Gras and never once felt unsafe or thought Bourbon Street area was "dirty". Everyone at the hotel, streetcar stops, Ubers and businesses we went to were sooooo nice and friendly with lots of tips on things to see and how to save money. Cajon Pride Swamp Tour with Big Joe was amazing--NOT a tourist trap! Blue Oak BBQ was absolutely divine and a gorgeous and easy walk down to the City Park. Then a quick streetcar ride back to this hotel. The alligator bites (half fried and half blackened) and corn dip at Mambos on Bourbon were worth going back to twice in our short stay. Can't wait to go back and stay longer!"
