"The faculty is updated and clean. It's an easy, beautiful walk across the bridge of lions to the heart of downtown St. Augustine. Room was updated and very clean except the windows which were quite dirty. The setting sun shining through them amplified just how dirty they were. Fan on AC/ heating unit had only one speed, not three as indicated on the controls. Bed was comfy. Bathroom is tight but has a very large shower. Some bath linens were dingy and worn but clean. Overall a nice place...

"I'm a solo traveler and like to stay within walking distance to main streets - I choose this hotel because of the distance to the St Augustine Lighthouse - although it is within walking distance, I did drive to the lighthouse - The main part of shops/restaurants was farther over the bridge - it is walkable but I would suggest driving. The hotel was clean - It was late when I arrived so I didn't have - or couldn't see many restaurant options available near by - but the hotel recommended one...
