First time staying at the Historic Inn. Will definitely stay again. Recently renovated, very clean, reasonably priced, and great location. The owners basically do everything themselves and they were super friendly.

Inn was just recently renovated and it shows Very nicely done, comfortable and cozzy Great location, just over the lions bridge Which a small 15 minute walk will take you straight to all the shops, dining, studios etc.

Considerate staff, ideal room amenities, clean, easy free parking, convenient walking distance to Castillo Monument and historic district. Pool closes seasonally and location has consistent traffic sounds, but only the white noise kind. Fine home base for visiting St Augustine.

For us it was a convenient and inexpensive spot for one night. Room was clean but would have liked queen size bed instead of two doubles. Parking is tight in a truck but it worked out. Can be a little noisy facing the busy street, but everything met expectations for the cost. Its an easy walk across the bridge into downtown and to visit the Castillo de San Marcos. There's a cool small brewery just a couple blocks away (Old Coast Ales) and a new one about to open directly across the street (Hornski's).

The historic inn is on an extremely busy intersection and not sure if it was just due to the weekend, but it was not a great night sleep due to all the noise. As well, there were ants in and around the sink and my sheets, while smelled clean - they had horrible stains on them. Was not a pleasant experience for myself or my daughter.

Locution was near the bridge which made it an easy walk to the historic area of St. Augustine vs. trying to find and pay for parking. Room was clean, fairly spacious - overall a great stay!

You get what you pay for. Looked to be newly renovated. Cute little fridge/freezer. Microwave. Didn’t like the small bathroom with tub and toilet only. No mirror or sink inside. You have to come out to the main room to wash your hands or use a mirror. Coffee maker, fridge, telephone, walls and duvet all various shades of green. Quite noisy with nearby tvs blaring, people talking loudly outside our room in the very early morning, lots of traffic going past, and at least five times someone’s vehicle alarm went off on the parking lot. No elevator but front desk clerk offered to help with our luggage. Very close to the lion gate bridge so a walk or short drive to the historic section of St. Augustine. No breakfast provided but for the price you don’t expect any extras. It felt safe and the room was clean other than around the top of the tub insert which was thick with dust! It was good enough for our two night stay.
